Garth Simmons
Collagistes Collective, begun in December 2013 with 25 artists, now has over 600 artist members, growing daily.
Garth’s sketches represent the under-appreciated doodle, an expression of artistic brilliance and psychological revelations, as they stem from the back of the mind, the subconscious, usually done while having to undertake some extremely tedious boring activity, or maybe a more pleasant moment when the mind just wanders. Or maybe an expression of anger, aggression and hatred best applied to pen and paper than actual violence.
The doodle is anarchy. The doodle is mental rebellion. The doodle is spiritual freedom in a prison world. The doodle is your explosion of inner beauty.
