war,
no longer regarded as a periodic event,
but a germ,
evolving into a parasite,
within the body politic,
into the bloodstream of society,
a lesson needed,
about war’s horrors,
and needless suffering,
a medicinal shot,
introducing war to the spoiled generations of the last sixty years,
blood in the streets,
no caravans of immigrants,
instead of only disappointed with the lives they had led,
all are dead,
no whining speeches,
about equality,
and fairness,
war is darkness,
war is death,
an antidote the only cure.
