The Pink Sky

I paint a pink sky
Where birds cast their net
And reach their own sea

They desire to soar high
They aim to fly

The sky is a sea for me
With its undefined vastness

I wish to reach somewhere
Maybe the walks of oblivion
Will be my journey
That I am not sure of

The velvety touch of morning dew
In my garden
The petrichor beside my cottage
Is all that is to celebrate
Like a grand festival of inquisitiveness,
In my reach.
